I will be there, and will be bringing my three sons aged 16, 14 and 11 as they are the future of this country and need to be educated and be advocates for human rights. As students in the late 1980s we sat on O’Connell St Bridge to protest about abortion rights, in those days we couldn’t even access information on abortion or where you could go to access one. The Marie Stopes Clinic phone no was written on the back of the toilet doors in the female toilets in UCD. That’s were we had to find the no. It made a terrifyingly painful and difficult time all the worse. I will be there, thank you for organising.
As a man who will never have to make that choice, I will be marching to give women in Ireland the freedom to choose the right option for them should they find themselves in such a difficult situation.

Sending good wishes to all marchers, from a N.Irish woman now living in England. Good on you.
