Before the last annual March for Choice we asked for you to share your story of coming to the March. The responses we got from a range of pro-choice people were inspiring and heart-warming.
Now after the most recent hearings of the UNHRC, which we had a part in drafting the submission on abortion rights and the launch of the Amnesty International report on abortion, we are once again opening up submissions to our blog here on our site.
We are open to a range of pieces from all sorts of pro choice people about why you want #repealthe8th to happen. Get in touch [email protected]
Hello, Back in College I wrote a Non-fiction piece on abortion. This story is about my experience having an abortion at the age of 17. Now I am 24 and have yet to share my story. My story is about me attending an abortion clinic and it may have been the scariest moment of my life but I do not regret it at all. I have finished college and followed my dreams going to a disney internship by making that choice. It took me five years to share my story and I hope one day everyone would understand that it was the right choice for me.
I Rimna, I lived in one of the cities in Indonesia. I am a mother of three children who were very young age. At that time I was afraid to have an abortion, the reason I had an abortion was because the economy was not able to turn my 4 children. In Indonesia it is difficult to gain access to an abortion unless it has a specific medical reason. Then I came to a medical specialist Ob-GYN and she wants an abortion to me. Today I just want to say that I do not regret doing it, will be sorry again if I maintain four children with very difficult economic conditions. For sure we will live hard
Breathtaking! You do not come by information similar
to this quickly and that I am not so ungrateful! Preserve it up people!
