Christmas gatherings guarantee plenty of ‘heated debates’, whether it’s around the dinner table or at the pub. A referendum to repeal the Eighth is FINALLY coming, and now is the time to get talking to your friends and family to secure their support.
This workshop will help you to figure out how to raise the topic, navigate tricky questions, and give you a chance to ask questions you’re unsure of.
London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign are hosting two short workshops in Central London on the evening of Monday December 11th in groups of 20.
The workshops will be delivered by Mairead Enright, a law lecturer who has been active in the campaign to repeal the Eighth amendment and has recently published a book on repeal. The workshops will aim to prepare you with the information and confidence to discuss repeal openly and confidently and help to win some votes over Christmas.
Mairead is an expert at navigating those tricky questions and with her background in teaching, is an ideal person to deliver these workshops.
These workshops are open to everyone. There is no charge for attending; there will be a donations bowl for Abortion Support Network.
