Join ARC in Filmbase after the March for Choice this year for treats, a creative workshop, a SpeakOut, performances and party! From immediately after the March with Tea, Coffee, and Cakes for Choice you’ll be able to catch up with other pro-choice people and activists in Filmbase (on Curved Street in TempleBar)
From 16.00PM:
Printing Press: Inspired by the ‘mosquito presses’ of 1916, we have a team of assistants that will help you produce your very own image or article for our limited edition pro-choice paper.
Screen for Choice: A screening and exhibition of art, creative actions and awesome designs calling for Repeal of the 8th Amendment and access to abortion across the island of Ireland. If you have a piece you would to contribute, send it to [email protected] with your contact details. Please write ‘Screen for Choice’ in the subject line of your email.
Merch for Choice: Get yourself, your granny or your dog one of our great tshirts, mugs or badges.
17.30PM:
To commemorate the 5th annual March for Choice, this year ‘How To’ SpeakOut invites new voices to share your personal experience of abortion, or of personal experiences in pro-choice activism. More familiar voices are invited to tell us about a creative way they told their story through art, film, performance, online actions and much more.
‘How to’ Speak Out aims to normalise the topic of abortion and celebrate its honest discussion, all within a safe environment that privileges sharing not debate. If you have had an abortion and would like to share your creation inspired by your experience at ‘How to’ Speak Out, get in touch with [email protected] with your contact details. Please write ‘How To Speak Out’ in the subject line of your email.

21.30PM
